Welcome to Tanzania! On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and transferred to Arusha Airport for your light aircraft flight into the Serengeti. On arrival, you’ll be transferred to Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge, where you’ll have some time to settle in and freshen up before your first game drive in the Serengeti. Enjoy dinner at the lodge before ending the day around the crackling campfire.
Serengeti
Rise to the sound of the birds, enjoy a hot cup of coffee and set off on your morning game drive where you’ll be spotting herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle, along with buffalo, elephant and giraffe, to name a few. The game viewing here won’t disappoint you – whenever you travel and is truly remarkable. Back at the lodge, enjoy meals and some R&R. Wallow in the pool as you absorb the magnificent view or just relax in the privacy of your balcony immersed in the surrounding solitude. End the day with dinner as the sounds of the night begin to fill the air.
Serengeti
Another day to experience this vast and un-spoilt wilderness. Besides the seasonal wildebeest migration for which the park is famous, it also supports a large diversity of game that wanders the open plains. You’ll always be on the lookout for the Big-5 – lion, elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo and the elusive leopard – perhaps you’ll even be lucky enough to see a predator stalking its prey. Enjoy meals and leisure time at the lodge.
Depart
After a final morning game drive, enjoy breakfast before your airstrip transfer and flight to Arusha Airport from where you can continue with your onward travel arrangements.

Destinations on this trip
Tanzania is an East African safari powerhouse, not least because in the Serengeti it features one of the greatest of all wilderness areas, and the backdrop for the annual Great Wildebeest Migration.
