A veteran of the East African safari industry, Fred began his journey in 1990 and teamed up with Wildlife Safari in 1992. As the operations manager, Fred is responsible for the smooth running of all our safaris across East Africa, making him a true expert in customer service and logistics.

Fred says that seeing a safari from planning to fruition and the joy that the experience brings to our guests is what he loves most about his job.

His favourite safari location in Kenya is Samburu National Park. Its stark, beautiful landscape and its distinctive animal species make it unforgettable. His favourite animal is the zebra because of its hypnotising stripes and always healthy appearance.

His love for travel & nature inspired Steve to begin working in the safari industry in 1991, and he joined Wildlife Safari in 2004. Steve says that the Masai Mara is ‘tops’ due to its abundance of animals, varied topography, and exhilarating game drives.

As our guest liaison, Steve is often the first person you’ll meet on arrival. He loves meeting people from different nationalities and getting to know more about their way of life back home and their perspective on Africa.

His favourite animal is the cheetah because its speed and natural beauty make it incomparable and mesmerising.
